Global Social Innovators Forum 2010
3-5 December 2010 - LASALLE College of The Arts
- Collaborative Innovation : Future Readiness - What's In It For Me?
SIP never stands still. Despite its huge success in 2009, we will courageously up the ante again. For 2010, participants can anticipate extremely thought provoking ideas and processes, as well as visual treats. The theme for GSIF 2010 is "Future Readiness : What's In it For Me ?" It will discover the drivers of trends and what future readiness mean to business, government, NPOs and the individual, as well as what each person/organisation needs to do in determining their own future. Big questions asked are 'what does the future look like?', 'what do we make of the big trend drivers like demography, technology, information, globalisation, connectivity, etc?', or 'what is the new social contract between the private, public and people sector?' and 'how can we co-create our future?".
Apart from plenary sessions and our signature Firepitch Spotlight, Social Innovation Lab and Masterclass tracks, GSIF2010 will introduce 2 new extremely exciting tracks. An aspirational goal of developing a 'Future Readiness Matrix/Index' will be launched where GSIF changemakers and decision makers from the private/public/people sector will partake in co-creating their future. The 'Social Innovators Accelerator' will look at establishing a support network, incubating and fast tracking 8-10 ideas or existing businesses to the next level of growth.
To ensure a lively and mind jogging forum that is unlike others, we will be bringing in top level speakers from diverse fields, including private sector honchos, social entrepreneurs, award-winning innovators, media, and government officials.
Yours Faithfully,
