The Global Social Innovators Forum (GSIF) is an annual two-day forum in Singapore that seeks to build a global & regional community of change-makers. It is fast becoming Asia’s cutting-edge platform for world-class leaders and innovators from the 3’P’ sectors (Private, Public, People) to collaboratively create new paradigms and solutions to economic, social and political challenges. Every year, we attract between 40 - 80 high-profile speakers and over 300 delegates from 25 - 35 countries. GSIF has garnered much publicity in prestigious media such as The Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNBC and Xin Hua News.
This year GSIF 2016 will be a 2 day forum and is relevantly themed " Co-creating Our Future: Sustainable Innovation”. In this increasingly complex and inter-connected world, the 3P (Private, Public, People) sectors have to work together and leverage on each other’s strengths for impactful, long-lasting systematic changes. The forum will explore the following streams:
- Stream 1: Questions for the Future
- Stream 2: Economies for the Future
- Stream 3: Collaborations for the Future
The first stream tackles the whys, exploring the current challenges we face, which then gives rise to the basic motivations on why we should co-create and why the focus on sustainability. The second stream delves into the whats – what are the innovative solutions for a sustainable future. The Circular Economy and the Sharing Economy takes centrestage here. After all, the Circular Economy is estimated to be worth $4.5 trillion in the next 15 years and the Sharing Economy has created 17 billion-dollar companies, many in less than 4 years.
Lastly, the third stream explores the hows – how we can collaborate differently and how much. Here, we are looking for long-term partners, visionary partners who want to be at the forefront of change to push the sustainability agenda together.
