The SIA Course is a year-long business mentorship programme that incubates driven individuals determined to change the world through soical innovation and entrepreneurship. It brings together expert mentorship from top business leaders, personalized coaching from coaches dedicated to bringing out the best in individuals, and robust capacity-building workshops taught by luminary organisations, providing an all-rounded one year programme that will accelerate the social enterprise and take it to new heights.

There will be a total of 5 capacity-building sessions throughout the year, with one held every 2 months, touching on business strategy and development and sharing from accomplished local and overseas social entrepreneurs.
Using the business model canvas as a base, mentees will take a comprehensive look at their business model and shall learn how to:
✓ Identify customer segments and create a loyal customer base
✓ Choose the most cost-efficient channels to reach to their audience for maximum impact
✓ Establish the right type of customer relationships and get the most value out of them
✓ Understand the different revenue streams and pricing mechanisms and maximize revenue
✓ Understand what are their key resources and leverage on them fully
✓ Define key activities to make their business model work
✓ Identify key partnerships for optimization and to reap economies of scale
✓ Identify the most important costs in their business model and minimize cost
Mentees will also have a minimum of 8 hours coaching with their personal coaches and 10 hours mentoring with their business mentor.
10 successful applicants will be shortlisted to present their business proposal to a panel of judges, comprising of business mentors, on 28 November at Global Social Innovators Forum (GSIF) 2014. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend as delegates.
