However, as economic green shoots began to appear on the horizon and the Asian engine continues to roar, the lessons of irrational exhuberance, growth for growth’s sake and private profits may well be forgotten, until the next crises come along. Meanwhile, social inequity, access to infocomm technology and distributed periphery networks can empower individuals and ‘tribes’ to bring down established corporations and institutions—resulting in net deficit for the world. The new leader faces multiple challenges in making himself a unique chieftain and a fellow social networker, a sharp businessman and a community minded grassroots leader all at once. - How are schools, societies, and parents cultivating our leaders?
- What value systems and corporate infrastructure have top leaders put in place in order to come out on top?
- While doctors have the Hippocratic Oath, should there be an oath or expectations for leaders, especially business leaders?
